MANNAthon was created as the main fund raiser for Manna Ministries Food Bank.  Our race raised over $75,000 for Manna Ministries in three years.

Unfortunately, the race proceeds were not enough to keep Manna afloat and Manna Ministries closed it’s doors at the Walnut Avenue location as of March 31, 2015.  The Rescue Mission has absorbed this ministry and will continue to offer food boxes, an opportunity to shop in the Thrift Store and a pancake breakfast to the working poor of the Roanoke Valley.  “Mission Manna” will take place on Saturday mornings from 7:30 to 10:30 am.  Contact Marian McConnell if you’d like to volunteer marian@rescuemission.net.

It is our hope that MANNAthon will one day be “resurrected”.  We had a great run.  Thank you for all your support.
